PrimaSELECT Polyether Imide (PEI) Ultem 1010 is an amorphous, tan to transparent thermoplastic with a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C. The 3D printing material can withstand temperatures up to 170°C in continuous use. This inherently flame retardant material has UL94 V0 and 5VA ratings.

PEI filament – ​​High-quality manufacturing material

PrimaCreator PEI filament has unique properties, as it does not come into contact with water during the production process and is directly vacuum-packed. These properties make PrimaCreator PEI filament particularly suitable for use in FDM and FFF 3D printers. The material has excellent adhesion between layers, which significantly improves impact resistance, strength, durability and the printing process.

To make a successful PEI print, there are a few things to keep in mind.

The printer performance must be up to the requirements of PEI filament, and its nozzle temperature should be 350-380°C. The heating bed temperature should be 120-160°C, and a heated chamber is important. It is also very important to ensure that the printer is placed in a room with little draft and no temperature fluctuations. PEEK printing is best done on PEI sheet at a print speed of 15-30 mm/s.
